Highlights of version 13.7

The highlight of 13.7 is the organizational gains in the data preparation flow: the context menu for steps arrives, bringing together in one place — with a right-click — the most used actions for each step (open configuration, rename, describe, and delete), and it is now possible to insert explanatory notes directly into the flow, making the objective of each part of the process clear for anyone consulting or reusing it later. The version also brings pagination to the REST API step, to fetch data from APIs that return results in pages, and Excel download of the Task list according to the filters applied on the screen. Other news and fixes are detailed below.

 

 

13.7.0 - October 31, 2023

New Features

Context menu for flow steps

Available in the data preparation editor by right-clicking on any flow step. You can now access the most used actions of each step in one place, without needing to open the configuration for everything.

  • Open the step configuration directly from the menu.

  • Rename the step with a display name that makes sense to you.

  • Add a description to the step to explain what it does within the flow.

  • Quickly delete the step from the flow.

Explanatory note in the data preparation flow

Available in the data preparation editor. You can now record notes directly in the flow, making the objective of each part of the process clear for anyone consulting or reusing it later.

  • Insert notes and observations in the flow itself, where the information is most useful.

  • Document the objective of flows and models, making it easier to understand the models in the Gallery.

Pagination in the REST API step

Available in the data preparation editor, in the configuration of the REST API step. You can now bring in data from APIs that return results in pages, transferring only what is necessary in each request.

  • Paginate by page index, using the page variable and the number of records per page.

  • Paginate by item index, defining from which record to fetch and how many records to return.

Excel report download in Tasks

Available in the Tasks module. You can now export the task list to Excel according to the filters applied on the screen, taking what you see to a spreadsheet.

  • Download the tasks corresponding to the currently active filters to Excel.

Improvements

  • File import now accepts .XLS and .XLSB formats, in both Import layouts and Processes.

  • The Transform and Filter flow steps have gained the Rownumber function, which creates a sequential index for the rows.

  • In the process visualization table and the flow data sample, it is now possible to freeze and reorder columns directly on the screen.

  • The Reconciliation flow step now keeps the side names exactly as you type them, and Reconciliation Analysis now displays the side name without repeating the step name.

  • When creating a Reconciliation Analysis, the platform now asks for confirmation before finishing, avoiding accidental creations.
