Version 13.5 Highlights
Version 13.5 arrives full of automation and integration news. Process scheduling lets the import happen on its own, with the recurrence you define or chained after another process, and execute process on the main screen allows triggering the execution right there. The series also brings the REST API step in the data preparation flow, SAP HANA integration to feed reconciliations from SAP, and the archive process option to keep the list organized. 13.5.0 - August 2023
New Features
REST API step in the data preparation flow
Available in the data preparation editor when building the flow. You can now fetch data directly from third-party REST APIs, bringing this information into data preparation without manual steps.
Connect to a REST API and use the return as a flow data source.
Archive process
Available in the process list. You archive a process you no longer use, keeping the list organized without losing history.
Archive a process to remove it from active use, keeping it available for reference.
Once archived, the process does not receive new data or accept configuration changes.
Process scheduling
Available on the process view screen, under Settings, in the Automation submenu. You define when the platform imports the process data and let the execution happen on its own, without needing to log in to run it manually.
Configure a recurrence (days and time) for the import to start automatically.
Chain the import to start immediately after another process receives new data.
SAP HANA integration for reconciliations
Available in General Settings, under Database Connectors. You connect the platform to the SAP HANA database and use this data in your Import Layouts, feeding reconciliation analyses from SAP.
Create a SAP HANA (ODBC) type connection and run SQL queries directly on the database.
Use the query result in Import Layouts for reconciliation analysis.
Execute process on the main screen
Available in the Processes menu, on the process view screen. You trigger the process execution directly from there, without needing to go through another screen.
Use Execute Process to generate data for a date that is still empty.
Use Reimport to update a date that already has data.
Improvements
New accounts added to the chart of accounts that are not in the trial balance are no longer considered as Planned in previous periods, in the Account Analysis and Account Substantiation Closing Dashboard; the account list is now updated only when a new trial balance is imported for the selected period.
The data source step configuration screens have become more fluid, and the XLSX File, Text File, and OFX File steps now read the file layout and fill in the import configuration automatically, with everything still adjustable.

The step column selector has become more explanatory, making it easier to understand what each column represents.
